{"id":88,"date":"2025-09-17T09:04:13","date_gmt":"2025-09-17T09:04:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/docs.mysterythemes.com\/ogma\/?p=88"},"modified":"2025-10-08T03:58:51","modified_gmt":"2025-10-08T03:58:51","slug":"how-to-configure-main-banner-settings","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/docs.mysterythemes.com\/news-express\/how-to-configure-main-banner-settings\/","title":{"rendered":"How to Configure Main Banner Settings?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The main banner section in <strong>News Express<\/strong> is divided into three subsections: <strong>SLIDER, TAB<\/strong> and <strong>BLOCK<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"777\" src=\"https:\/\/docs.mysterythemes.com\/news-express\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/28\/2025\/09\/image-2-1024x777.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-402\" srcset=\"https:\/\/docs.mysterythemes.com\/news-express\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/28\/2025\/09\/image-2-1024x777.png 1024w, https:\/\/docs.mysterythemes.com\/news-express\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/28\/2025\/09\/image-2-300x228.png 300w, https:\/\/docs.mysterythemes.com\/news-express\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/28\/2025\/09\/image-2-768x583.png 768w, https:\/\/docs.mysterythemes.com\/news-express\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/28\/2025\/09\/image-2.png 1049w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>To configure your <strong>Main Banner layout,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open your theme customizer settings by navigating to <strong>Appearance &gt;&gt; Customize.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Navigate to <strong>FrontPage &gt;&gt; Main Banner.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Under <strong>General<\/strong> Tab, you have three different sections that you can customize your main banner fro\/.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>To configure <strong>SLIDER<\/strong> or <strong>BLOCK SETTINGS,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Navigate to <strong>FrontPage &gt;&gt; Main Banner<\/strong> option.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Under the <strong>General Tab<\/strong>, scroll down to the respective<strong> SLIDER<\/strong> or <strong>BLOCK SETTINGS<\/strong> panel to configure your settings.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>First of all enable <strong>Banner Block<\/strong> and <strong>Banner Slider<\/strong> based on your preferences by <strong>toggling on <\/strong>or<strong> off<\/strong> the option.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For the <strong>slider <\/strong>and <strong>block <\/strong>settings, you are equipped with 3 <em>DROP DOWN MENUS<\/em>:&nbsp; <strong>Slider\/Block Category, Posts Order by and Posts Date Filter.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>First under<strong> <\/strong>the <strong>Slider\/Block Category, <\/strong>you can select one of the categories, for which you want to display the post in the respective Slider or Block sections.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Note: You can only select categories you have created before.
