Background color typically represents the main background color of your website’s body or overall page area, which is the area outside of your content, header, or sidebar.
To customize background color,
- Go to Dashboard → Appearance → Customize.
- Then look for General Settings → Background
- Choose Background Color from the Palette, if you want to keep colors in your website background
- Choose Background Image and choose appropriate image option, if you want to go that way.
- Then, click on the Publish button.
