404 Error Page or Not Found Page are displayed when the URL<\/strong> requested by your user doesn\u2019t exist in your site. In that case you would want to navigate<\/strong> your users to relevant content<\/strong> and redirect<\/strong> them to other pages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Purenote<\/strong> exactly allows you to configure and customize 404 Error Page. <\/strong>To do that<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Open your WordPress dashboard<\/strong> with your login credentials<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Navigate to Appearance \u2192 Customize<\/strong> to open theme customizer<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • After you have opened the theme customizer, navigate to Innerpage Settings \u2192 404 Error<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    • There are two toggle options ‘Enable Search box<\/strong>‘ which enables search box in your 404 box, and ‘Enable homepage button<\/strong>‘ that enables a button with link to home page of the website. Enable or Disable it as per your preferences.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • If you enable the homepage button, add a custom label<\/strong> by inputting the text in the text box below.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      There are two tabs:\u00a0General<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Design<\/strong>. You can select the tabs and tweak the setting to display\u00a0404 page<\/strong>\u00a0as per your preference.<\/p>\n\n\n

      • Under General Tab, you can set\u00a0Page Type, Page Caption, Page Title\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Page Content<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Besides, you can also enable or disable Search box and button by toggling on\/off\u00a0Enable Search box<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Enable buttons.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • In case you have enabled buttons, you can add Button Label and Link in the input field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • You can also\u00a0choose different colors<\/strong>\u00a0for both buttons as per your choice.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
