Whether you are customizing for branding, usability, or style, the header is the key element of every site that affects every page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">For the customization<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to WordPress Dashboard, then head to\u00a0<strong>Appearance \u2192 Customize<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After that, navigate to <strong>Header Settings<\/strong> in the given customizer, which is on the left side of your screen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Now go to the<strong>\u00a0Site Identity<\/strong>\u00a0option, which will take you towards customizing the topmost part of the header element.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Start by choosing the Logo<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To add a logo in the header, choose the\u00a0<strong>Select Logo<\/strong>\u00a0button.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Then upload your logo (make sure you have it in your media files or hard drive)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Now, check if the logo is placed in the right order or not through live preview.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Site Title and Tagline<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If you want to give your site a title along with a tagline, head to the Site Title and Tagline section.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the text area below the\u00a0<strong>title<\/strong>\u00a0and insert your desired title for your site.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Similarly, for the tagline, just select the box of<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>the<strong>\u00a0Tagline<\/strong>\u00a0and add the tagline.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Then, simply right-click the\u00a0<strong>Display Site Title and Tagline\u00a0<\/strong>menu, located beneath the tagline text area, to bring up the site title and tagline. From the site icon, the user recognizes that your website\u2019s tab is open or bookmarked in their browser. Therefore, the site icon is used as an authenticity of the website. So adding it would be helpful to recognize your site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To add Site Icon, select the\u00a0<strong>Select<\/strong> <strong>Site Icon<\/strong>\u00a0button below the tagline option<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Then, upload your site icon from your device or from media files.
