- Go to Dashboard >> Appearance >> Widgets.
- Add the Editorial: Featured Slider widgets at the header or sidebar as you wish.
- At first, select the category for the slider.
- After that, right tick the checkboxes for slider settings.
- Set up slide pause, speed time and the number of slides.
- Tick the checkbox if you want to hide highlighted section from the slider section.
- Select the category for the featured section.
- Again, tick the checkbox to display posts from sub-categories.
- Choose highlighted section layouts from available layouts.
- Click on the Save button.
