- Go to Dashboard >> Appearance >> Widgets.
- Add the Editorial: Block Posts (Column) widgets at the header or sidebar as you wish.
- Enter the Block title in text field.
- Select the required categories from dropdown fields.
- Checkbox for display posts from sub-categories.
- Select the number of columns from dropdown fields.
- Choose the number of posts.
- Set the excerpt length for first row posts (25 is best ).
- Click on the Save button.
