For the Newsfeed theme, the footer section is divided into two sections: Main area Footer and Bottom area Footer.
Main Area Footer can be employed to display Contact Information, Navigational Link, Social Media Links, Legal Information, Terms & Conditions, Privacy and Policy and other Additional Information.
Bottom Area Footer is solely used to display copyright information.
The Main Area Footer widget supports up to 4 different layouts as shown below.
