How to Configure 404 Error Page?

404 Error Page or Not Found Page are displayed when the URL requested by your user doesn’t exist in your site. In that case you would want to navigate your users to relevant content and redirect them to other pages.

Newsfeed exactly allows you to configure and customize 404 Error Page. To do that

  • Open your WordPress dashboard with your login credentials
  • Navigate to Appearance >> Customize to open theme customizer
  • After you have opened the theme customizer, navigate to Innerpage Settings >> 404 Error
  • There are two tabs: General and Design. You can select the tabs and tweak the setting to display 404 page as per your preference.
  • Under General Tab, you can set Page Type, Page Caption, Page Title and Page Content.
  • Besides, you can also enable or disable Search box and button by toggling on/off Enable Search box and Enable buttons.
  • In case you have enabled buttons, you can add Button Label and Link in the input field.
  • After configuring the settings, don’t forget to click on button to save the changes.
