A news ticker is a news scroll that is generally positioned at the top of the page to highlight news. It is considered an indispensable ingredient for a news website.
Newsfeed allows you to enable NewsTicker for all pages of your site.
You can also set the limit for the total posts displayed in the News Ticker section and you can display posts categorically, both of which were not possible for the free version.
In order to do that,
- First, open your admin dashboard with your login credentials
- Then, open your theme customizer by navigating to Appearance >> Customize
- After that, navigate to the Header Settings >> News Ticker option to configure settings for News Ticker.
- First, make sure Enable News Ticker is toggled on.
- Then, under the Ticker show on option, click on the All-Page button if you want to display News Ticker for all the posts and not just the homepage.
- You can also choose to display Ticker posts categorically instead of displaying all the posts as News Ticker by selecting from the Ticker Categories dropdown.
- Limit the number of posts displayed at News Ticker by sliding the values as required.
- After making your changes, don’t forget to click the
button to publish the changes.
