News ticker is a news scroll that is generally positioned at the top of the page to highlight news. It is a considered an indispensable ingredient for a news website.
Ogma Pro allows you to enable News Ticker for all the pages and not just the homepage which was not possible in the free version of the Ogma.
You can also set the limit for the total post displayed in the News Ticker section and you can display posts categorically both of which were not possible for the free version.
In order to do that,
- First open your admin dashboard with your login credentials
- Then, open your theme customizer by navigating to Appearance >> Customize
- After that, navigate to Header Settings >> News Ticker option to configure settings for News Ticker.
- First make sure Enable News Ticker is toggled on
- Then under Ticker show on option, click on All page button if you want to display News Ticker for all the posts and not just the homepage.
- You can also choose to display Ticker posts categorically instead of displaying of all the posts as News Ticker by selecting from Ticker Categories dropdown.
- Limit the number of posts displayed at News Ticker by sliding the values as required.
- After making your changes, don’t forget to click on
button to save and publish the changes.
