How to Configure Footer Widget Area?

Go to Dashboard >> Appearance >> Customize >> Footer Settings >> Footer Widget Area.
Click Enable option for the the Footer Widget Area.
Choose the available layout from the Widget Area Layout.
Click on Save & Publish button.
