Import Demo Content in Editorial

Theme also has multiple beautiful demos that you can explore and import your favorite demo in just one click. With the help of Mystery Themes demo import plugin – you can set up the website like a demo.

  • Firstly, install a plugin and activate it. Once it is activated, follow the below steps:
  • Go to Dashboard >> Appearance >> Editorial settings.
  • Next click on Demos. Select any one demo you want to import on your site.
  • Hit the import button located below demos. Click ok the dialogue box if it appears.

How to Configure Main Menu Section?

  • Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Header Settings >> Main Menu Section.
  • Enable/disable switch option for sticky menu under Menu Sticky option.
  • Enable/disable switch option to display a simple home icon at primary menu section under Home Icon Option.
  • Set up typography for primary menu section from Menu Typography where options are ( Font-family, font-weight/style, text-transform, text-decoration, font-size, line height, font color ).
  • Also, you can set the menu background color and menu hover color.
  • Click on the Save and Publish button to implement the changes you made.

How to Add Breadcrumbs to your Posts?

Editorial Pro comes with a unique feature to add breadcrumbs in your posts.

  • Go to Dashboard >> Appearance >> Customize >> Additional Setings >>Breadcrumbs Settings
  • Choose Show/ Hide option to control the breadcrumbs setting.
  • If enabled, enter the text under Home Text.
  • Again, enter the Separator Value on the field box.
  • Then, Click on the Save & Publish button.

Editorial: Block Posts (Column) Widget

  • Go to Dashboard >> Appearance >> Widgets.
  • Add the Editorial: Block Posts (Column) widgets at the header or sidebar as you wish.
  • Enter the Block title in text field.
  • Select the required categories from dropdown fields.
  • Checkbox for display posts from sub-categories.
  • Select the number of columns from dropdown fields.
  • Choose the number of posts.
  • Set the excerpt length for first row posts (25 is best ).
  • Click on the Save button.

  • Go to Dashboard >> Appearance >> Widgets.
  • Add the Editorial: Block Posts(List) widgets at the header or sidebar as you wish.
  • Enter the block title in text field.
  • Select the required categories from dropdown fields.
  • Tick checkbox to display posts from sub-categories.
  • Set the number of posts.
  • Choose a layout from available layouts.
  • Set the excerpt length for first row posts.
  • Click on “Save” button.

Editorial: Show Video Widget

  • Go to Dashboard >> Appearance >> Widgets.
  • Add the Editorial: Show Video widgets at the header or sidebar as you wish.
  • Enter widget title at text field.
  • Enter the full URL of the embedded video from a platform like youtube, Vimeo, Facebook, Twitter etc.
  • Click on the “Save” button.

Editorial: Default Tabbed Widget

  • Go to Dashboard >> Appearance >> Widgets.
  • Add the Editorial: Default Tabbed widgets at the header or sidebar as you wish.
  • In this widget there are 3 different tab section where 1st was popular posts, 2nd was the latest posts and 3rd one is the list of latest comments. All tabs are fixed sequentially.
  • If you want to change the tab title then you can do it from tab title text fields.
  • If you want to change the number of posts on each tab then you can do it from the Number of Posts fields.
  • Click on the Save button.

Editorial: Block Layout Widget

  • Go to Dashboard >> Appearance >> Widgets.
  • Add the Editorial: Block Layout widgets at the header or sidebar as you wish.
  • Enter the block title in the text field.
  • Select the required categories from dropdown fields.
  • Tick the checkbox for display posts from sub-categories.
  • Choose the number of post counts to display the post.
  • Set the excerpt length for the first post.
  • Click on Save button.
